Egg-Cited 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run

The Cabot Parks & Recreation Egg-Cited 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is a great opportunity to celebrate spring and the warmer weather in a fun family environment. This is a perfect start for new runners or well seasoned racers. The race will be held on Saturday, April 9th 2022. Follow our Facebook page for more details!

All participants registered by April 2nd will receive a bib and medal. All participants registered by March 31st are guaranteed a run t-shirt. We cannot guarantee a t-shirt for registrations after March 31st.

The 5K race/walk kicks off at Cabot Administrative Offices (CAO) and continues down Polk Street toward Freshman Academy, after crossing Lincoln Street. The race will continue through the Shiloh Subdivision where it will be the perfect mix of hills and flat road racing. The finish line will be upon returning to CAO. This race will be time chipped.

The Cabot Parks & Recreation 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is for children who are currently in 1st - 6th grade. This race will begin at Cabot Administrative Offices (CAO) and continue onto Polk toward Cabot Junior High North. This race will be staffed for young children to have a safe and fun running experience. This race will also end at CAO.
