The Dolphin/Laser USA Swim Team is a year-round competitive swim program serving Central Arkansas. The Dolphin-Lasers are members of Arkansas Swimming Inc. (ASI) and United States Swimming (USAS). The Dolphin-Lasers offer opportunities for improvement and achievement for every level of swimmer, from beginners to national level competition. Practices and home meets are held at Veterans Park Community Center, practices are Monday’s – Thursday’s from 4:00pm – 6:00pm. The Arkansas State Age Group Championships were held at UALR this month. We had 14 swimmers from Cabot qualify for the meet:

All these swimmers had a great meet and many cut times off their events. We had three swimmers make it to the finals in some of their events.
Jessie Baldwin finished 7th in the state in the 100 Breaststroke for 13-14 year old girls.
Kayla McGee finished 8th in the state in the 50 Freestyle and 8th in the 100 Breaststroke for the 13-14 year old girls.
Rachel Montanaro finished 6th in the state in the 50 Breaststroke for the 10 & under girls.
We are excited to have so many swimmers qualify and look forward to having more next year!
